I enjoyed your show as a first time listener. John Kaminski shared the link to your show. Thank you, Frederick.

Great show. Been listening since you had John Friend on. And now with Kaminski, I am hooked.

    Good work.

(Sidenote: the music that opens the show. Do you play trumpet? Just curious if you recorded the song)

D M and BuelahMan - Thanks for commenting! I'm glad you liked the show. Yes, Mr. John Kaminski was great to work with . . and I hope he will stop back by the Trading Posts soon.

BuelahMan - Thanks for noticing the intro-exit music. That is from a song called, "If You Were Mine" off my 1997 CD release simply called, "Frederick Blackburn" that I released on my "FACE Records" label.

The most awesome trumpet part is from Raleigh, NC musician extraordinaire Mr. Joel Rhodes. (perhaps the best horn man I've ever had the privilege to work with)

Mr John Phillips took my MIDI drum tracks and created that perfect back beat with his "perfect pitch" vintage Ludwig drums.

Mr. Jimi "45" Wilson laid down that smooth bass line with his mint condition Fender Precision.

I played the rest of the tracks and did all the vocals (my "Todd Rundgren and Pete Townshend" influence coming through). . . which thank goodness we don't have to listen to here!! . . .lol

It is always my "vain musician" hope that one day this obscure release will be sought out by "collectors" like Todd Rundgren fans try to find those rare "Woody's Truckstop" albums . . ;-)

So, needless to say, starting anew in the wacky world of (very political) "Internet Talk Radio" is quite the transition for me!! Thank goodness I've got some really good "back up" help!!!

Great show. It's my first visit to this site, all the way from Iceland.
